trivisTOUCH is a state-of-the-art weather presentation system that offers a vast array of visualization options. This fully interactive, real-time solution allows the presenter to control navigation and focus on the day’s weather story. Users can highlight weather phenomena by superimposing the weather data straight onto the globe – whilst they present! They can draw frontal systems, place warning signs and text, and set high / low pressure symbols.
Video webcam feeds can be integrated into the solution, to assist with direct, accurate weather commentary during a live broadcast.Meteorological data can be ‘switched on’ to showcase weather variations based on models (such as GFS, ICON, COSMO, etc.) and observations (such as Radar, satellite pictures from EUTMESAT, JMA, NOAA, etc). Weather station observations can also be introduced for even more real-time accuracy.
